Fair, next. I hope they lock you away. You treat people like dirt, you get shown the same level of respect. Probably also depends on what you told them beforehand. If you told them you were filming and would distribute it all over the place and they agreed, well then you're still a scumbag but they probably have very little recourse. If you didn't explicitly tell them you'd film and didn't explicitly tell them others would get to see this video, then I'd imagine their claims have some substance.

They're very aware of the camera and openly state their name and amount they're getting from it before it.

As someone who works in HR, I'm leaning towards you're fucked, with 95% certainty.
Even a kiss on the cheek is innapropriate and really has no place in the workforce. Doesn't matter if the employee "consented" and willingly did it. That is literally classified as "quid pro quo". Does not matter if YOU do not feel it was sexual in any way, and I highly doubt any jury will see an employer having his employees kiss their ass as anything but that.
I guarantee they will say they did it because they didn't want to lose their jobs.

You're spot on with them saying that (also the whole quid pro quo was mentioned at the preliminary hearing.
The way it was phrased to me I don't think it'll go to a jury, though they've yet to decide on just how to charge, it's absurd.

Does not matter. The owner of my company will not even get within one foot of a female employee, and never touches people, not even a friendly pat on the back. Anything beyond a handshake is typically not done by a boss.
Having employees kiss your ads is a home run for their attorney, I really do not think you're grasping the seriousness of this and just how likely you are to lose.

Maybe I am confused but you said something about how they were offering you a deal to accept the civil charges and avoid the criminal charges and then you refused to take the deal and got found guilty and they were moving on with the criminal charges.

I was certainly considering the 3rd amount they dropped to, but then something else came to light making it very unlikely that particular person would be able to withstand a lengthy civil dispute.
I did rant about the detective in a way which may have made it seem there was little hope, as I said, bad with law.
Also this isn't the same case either, this is 3 others (criminal) due to said detective harassing me.

In all likelihood the prosecution will look to settle out of court vs going to trial.
If TC has any sense at all, he'll take the settlement.
I can see how in your mind there's nothing "wrong" with what you did since they consented. But I guarantee the judge and jury will not see it that way. You do not want this going to trial. Juries are stocked with people too stupid or too poor to get out of it, you really want those people judging you? You really think some cashier at CVS is going to be sympathetic to the rich man paying employees to kiss their ass because they get a charge out of it?

"Yes I paid my employee to s mah d, your honor, but I paid her for it AND she consented!" You really think that defense has ever worked? Because it hasn't. You can tell yourself all day that it's ok because they consented, but I promise you that's not how it works nor is that how it'll be seen. It'll be seen as someone who was afraid to lose their job if they didn't humiliate themselves for their own bosses sick pleasure. And really, that is what it was.
If that was just some rando off the street that's different. But labor laws are pretty cut and dry, and when you boil it down to simplicity (which is what the prosecution will do) you paid/intimidated employees for sexual favors.

My apologies, if it goes to trial this would be the last place I'd post (esp given how many other KmA club members are archived).
That and it'd be very easy to find once trial starts ans had enough trouble when people similarly stalked me to find out who my cousins were.

I never said I wouldn't settle out of court which they're already hinting at.
In fact I agree with most of what you said, of course a jury is going to look very negatively on me with my ass hanging out more than once with people on their knees who also work for me. They'd look even further down on the one that both kissed it and fished money out my ass with their mouth (probably even more because that one was a woman) .
