Either have about 3 or 4 characters that you can switch to for their respective period like the 80s, 90s, 2000s & modern day or be able to unlock and switch between them at will as one character.

It'll be interesting to see what they'll do with it. More interestingly, where it will be located. All they've done since GTA 3, essentially, is LA, NYC and Miami.

The first part should play like Bully and have the main character as a teen. Then the middle part have him as an up and comer in a crime family, then have him take over in the last part.

I wonder how that would work with online though which is undoubtedly going to get their primary focus now after being such a money maker for them. They might not bother doing different time periods of the city, clothes, cars, etc. In a fully fleshed out way if they don't think I'll benefit Online.
