It will shoot over six months in London, Oxfordshire and locations in South Africa. Gaiman will write the series. It debuts in the UK in 2019 on Prime Video before airing on BBC Two later on. The series also stars Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Miranda Richardson, Ned Dennehy and Ariyon Bakare. It was commissioned by Amazon Studios and BBC Two by BBC Controller Patrick Holland, BBC Comedy Commissioning Controller Shane Allen and BBC Commissioning Editor Gregor Sharp. Narrativia, BBC Studios and The Blank Corporation will produce with BBC Worldwide.
