I don't know how it is in the States, but they can detect weed up to 3-7 days after smoking it so even if you're not high you still get charged with being intoxicated. It's pretty horseshit. The Australia government apparently is saying that cannabis can be detected after 12 hours, but it appears that this may be WRONG and that people have tested positive after weeks. Read this: DAVID MARK: A NSW magistrate has criticised the State Government's roadside drug testing program, and its advice that cannabis can only be detected up to 12 hours after use. The Lismore magistrate David Heilpern says he has heard hundreds of cases in the past few months which contradict that advice. He says people claim they've been caught for drug driving in some cases weeks after they say they had last smoked cannabis. It depends on how much fat you have and how much you smoke, as it's fat soluble (which is why people make edibles with butter/oil). It'll also stay in your hair for much longer if they really want to get people. Again, I highly doubt TC failed because he was high atm, but idk much about MDMA.
