it's counterintuitive but get your hair trimmed often, the growth will speed up and you'll be left with better ends

At least that's what i get told

But really I cut my hair a lot and it grows much more than it did when I let it be. I will believe that advice

You know my struggles then! Those are the textures of my entire head, lol. Well, mostly 4A/B, low porosity coily screw curls. I love my curl pattern and don't want to damage them again at the risk of losing more length.

i get it trimmed like every 6 weeks when i get it dyed but i don't really want to spend a ton of money on my hair to be super honest. it's just not a super priority. i'd like it but i'm not trying to hard on it. >_> i'm lazy.

Yeah! Even if it is just part of my hair, it's there. My half Nigerian friend is 4A/B, she colors her hair a lot and it grows. So. Slow. Bleach destroys her stuff. It's hard for the 4 type for sure.
