Yes. I read at least a chapter a day of something. Sometimes will knock off a book in a weekend or something.

I've only read through one book over the last ~15 years, so no.

It's not necessary in an age where we have the internet and video games. I know there are good reasons for preferring books over other forms of media, but it's just not for me.

I just don't have the attention span for it, personally.

I also have a lot trouble remembering details from a given chapter if it's strictly text. Like, I can look at a textbook-style book or a graphic/visual novel and remember pretty much anything on the page, but if it's a straight up novel... nope.

I read a ton. The latest thing I read was an anthology of short stories written by Tibetan authors. Most of them were depressing. I have a massive backlog of books at all times.
