Sami1000 09/15/17 8:31:28 PM #1:	Barney lost the slap bet, and Marshall got the right to slap him 5 times any time he wanted. It was fair... until Barney got Lily and Marshall back together, he intentionally paid 10k usd for a naked painting which Lily painted, and even though Lily purposedly messed the painting, Barney still paid that 10k for it. Then before their wedding Barney took part in the show called "guess the price" and gave all his won items to Lily and Marshall as wedding gift, including dune buggy. The overall stuff he gave away was probably worth 20k. Oh! And Barney got Marshall really, really well paying job. Yet, even after all that Marshall makes his 3 slaps right as a yearly tradition on thanks giving, which makes Barneys whole day complete mental torture. Why is marshal worse than Ted? well I said arguably, but imo his cheese factor is at least on par with Ted. it's torture to watch the shit he does in the later seasons, especially scenes that include Lily and the baby. But yeah, marshal can be cheesy but imo, not to the extent that Ted can be. Ted will literally change his values on a whim in order to be with a woman.
