You know, I was thinking there aren't a lot of downsides to this option but he'll probably escape at some point, and then he'd be loose in the Batcave with access to Wayne Manor and the secret identity. On the other hand, Alfred might actually kill him in that case. With some takes on Alfred, it wouldn't be that far-fetched. I think he already knows the secret identity deep down, he just dont want the cat and rat game to end. Man.
