Base Xbox owners would feel ripped off, they'd backpedal on their choice of making all exclusives on PC as well, which is extremely pro consumer and I applaud them for, and it would probably get them some extra One X sales from the die hards (who'd likely already end up getting one anyways) but the backlash and PR would be so bad it would probably cripple the game's sales and player base.
