Some people might be angry but like mentioned they probably don't care about the story just the miniseries itself. I haven't seen it yet cause I'm waiting for this weekend where it's hopefully not as packed but I'll probably compare them too while appreciating the differences in the two. Curry killed PW. He didn't capture the essence of IT but he 100% captures the essence of pennywise the clown. I'm hyped as all hell though for the new one but I heard the same thing someone said in this topic that it was way less faithful. Like silver isn't in it aside from being just a basic bike with a little cameo of the name being on it. But I also heard there's a ton of Easter eggs too. Any comments yourself? It was already 2 hours and 15 minutes, so it's understandable. I'm just glad there's finally a Pennywise that's actually scary. The jump scares are acceptable and there's genuine tension throughout the movie. It's fantastic. If I want to laugh at Pennywise I'll watch Curry. The build up of the story is far better in the mini series. Getting to the climax of the story felt so much more rewarding. The pacing of this movie sucked - sorry to say. Yeah, the awkward taking of turns kicking the spider was a great climax. I'm talking about the first half and the buildup of the entire story.
