As a teacher NOW, what I can say is that Wiki is an excellent starting point.
However, you don't take everything posted on the internet just at face value. Follow the thread it gives you, see if those facts you see on Wiki add up. There are instances where Wiki can be edited incorrectly. Always follow up on those facts to see where they got their info from. Wiki is not "peer reviewed".
