Pretty sure guards have to stay. I imagine a prison is pretty fucking safe though.

Everybody went to Wal-Mart to loot after Katrina ended the rule of law in New Orleans.

Three years ago I had to spend about a week in jail. When I was going in my biggest worry was some kind of end of the world type event happening and getting stuck in there, haha. I wouldn't be expecting those guards to be sticking or letting anyone out.
