As I read, some research suggests most kids who feel some confusion about their genders start to get over it around puberty. Probably has to do with prepubescent kids being more androgynous and the influx of sex hormone during puberty.

Show one or two examples of transgender people regretting their decision to go post op, and all of a sudden, this is the reality for near all transgenders who chose to do so.

In a vaguely similar situation when I was younger for years up into about my mid teens I thought vaginas were gross and the thought of going down on a woman was even more gross, despite being a straight man based on what I'd seen in porn and everything so I got to a point where I primarily just searched blowjob related things.
