I hear this is a good idea but also I feel like you'd have to be a massive schmuck to go to the trouble and it's never hurt me in the past.

No, I always figured if they were interested it would be on my education, skills and experience, not the paper quality it's all printed on.

I've hired hundreds of people in my profession over the years, and all I look at before interviews was what I stated above.

No, I don't remember the last time I physically gave someone my resume. I would take copies of it with me to interviews just in case, but I printed on regular paper and I don't think anyone needed an extra copy either.

Having a cousin who worked in HR, she says they actually look for it bc it shows effort and initiative. Not a deal breaker though. It is an easier type of paper to shuffle around and doesn't get as wrinkled

Yeah, I always have a copy but every interview I've done the interviewer already had a copy for themselves (printed on standard paper nonetheless)

If I were the interviewer I honestly think I'd look down on people who thought fancy paper could sway me >_> Of course if they were still qualified I'd snatch 'em up but golly

nope. I haven't submitted a paper resume in forever, it is all electronic, and when I go I do bring copies of my resume but 90% of the time they already have it printed off.
