Because it was completely unjustified. If she did what the cop wanted she would have broken the law and potentially lost her license. The cop was 100% in the wrong and now that white America sees that yes, it can happen to little Sally May, they're starting to realize hmm, maybe there IS a problem with the police in this country. There are too many damn instances of them overstepping their bounds for it to be "one bad apple!!!" And when their fellow officers refuse to do what's right, it's clear the entire tree is rotten. How officers are chosen and trained needs to be vastly overhauled across the country.

Cops in this area are usually the bullies from high school, athletes, and ex military. The compassionate people don't want to be cops. I will drive miles to a different store if I see a cop at The store I planned to go to. Look at this nice cop and how he treats people trying to save lives after Harvey.

It's clear that the outrage came from the fact the officer was absolutely 100% in the wrong and clearly overstepped the boundaries of legality.
It's also clear this incident received more outrage than normal because the victim was a white female, and there are still several chunks of white America that don't see the police as an unchecked threat to our safety. --- I have trouble concentrating because I have 80HD. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Why didn't her white privilege save her? Because that cop didn't want to do any work, and he tried to just get what he needed quickly, and by force. Cops being assholes is universal. Now the violence and suspicion cops throw at people is clearly biased. I'm not afraid I'll get shot every time I see a cop, but I am afraid they will ruin my day and try to arrest me every time I see a cop. --- Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken! ... 1) The cop had a mustache, was bald, and otherwise looked like an abusive boyfriend who appears in a few episodes of Roseanne in the mid-90's to rough up Darlene or some shit.
2) So with that said, you pretty much had the most white trash looking cop ever 3) There seemed to be some concerted and frantic effort by their part to get the blood of a victim driver who had nothing to do with anything. 4) The Charge Officer who asks for her arrest and then later on the bodycam explains that it's standard operating procedure for blood to be drawn off a Burn ICU unit and he 'didn't know that' and 'had he known that' it may have 'solved some issues that arose due to time' because he could have called Logan, UT and had them start a warrant to take the already-drawn blood sample rather than yada yada storming in and demanding a sample of blood yada yada. 5) From start to finish (the video of the driver crashing into the truck driver, the cops storming in the hospital and taking the girl away, every last minute of all of it) - it looks like officers that know a lawsuit may be coming from the family of either the suspect who died, or the truck driver victim who is now severely hurt - and them wanting to try and find Alcohol in his blood and thus wanting a sample of blood fucking now and not in a few hours and thus prompting their overall behavior, their franticness, their trying to coax citizens into breaking the law and their own employment, etc. The entire thing just looked like some surreal web-story of the movie Training Day with a minor character who dies at the end, but follows Denzel Washington and does fucked up shit. --- No time to freeze undercovers ease up in Grand Prix, and seize packages and pocket the currency - GZA ... I live in Kentucky, what I've seen is mostly racist cops. I don't say that lightly. I hate people throwing that word around, but 100% honest with you, in this town the cops are without a doubt racist. There aren't many black people living here.
