Just going from the first episode, it's not really Liberal Horror Story. The Trump dude is obviously crazy, but the Clinton supporters are just as bad. The main one is a complete basket case of irrational phobias that are already beginning to ruin her marriage and fuck up her kid. Her wife is much, much more reasonable, but even she snaps at the crazy one because she voted for Jill Stein. And while there's a lot of people talking about how bleak the future is because Trump got elected, all of it comes across as sort of irrational and pathetic; these people are still going about their normal, upper-middle class lives with zero change.

Except for the crazy one who's hallucinating murder-clowns fucking each other in the produce stand, of course.

I'm hoping for some kind of twist. it would be interesting if the liberal ends up being the villain somehow. or if they have both of them end up being wrong in some way. and the Jill Stein voter becomes the hero that saves the day in the season finale

That's like the left getting up in arms over the movie Get Out because the white people were exaggerated liberals yet the only people that got upset at that movie were again the right

actually I just had a thought.....what if the twist is that there is this cult that manipulated the election on both sides, and it turns out the whole process was a scam run by this cult? maybe we find out that the cult is a shadow government of elites who truly control the nation behind the scenes and all politicians are just for show.
