- The concept of the game leaks out. The internet absolutely hates it. The developers feel gutted.
- The reveal on E3 turns things around completely. Miyamoto named the lead developer and thanks him publicly. He gets a standing ovation. He's crying
- The game releases to great reviews and feels like such a passion project

Such a great story. Sometimes it helps seeing the people behind this stuff and seeing how much they care.

Yeah, people are actually legitimately pleasantly surprised that the game is actually good, considering the history of the Rabbids series.

Sounds somewhat similar to Metroid Prime's story tbh.

That one is even more of a miracle. Mediocre newbie studio given the keys to 3D Metroid Prime. Everyone was expecting a generic FPS and that the real Metroid was gonna be Fusion.
