Same with digital movies since shelf/warehouse space is important for retailers.
You'll find BluRays for $5 with a digital code as well, but if you try to go digital, it just stays $20 pretty much for years. So you can pay $5 for a physical and digital copy or just $20 for digital. Speaking of digital codes, it would have been so nice if games did it like movies and included a digital copy as well.
