I like the idea of a game where it does stuff in the background and you check on it every once in a while, I just hate how they use every opportunity to try and convince you to throw money at them.

With this game I notice its mostly full of references from the older seasons. Is that on purpose, or has there really been to progression in the show since its prime? I havent watched the show in at least a decade so you'd think it would be full of references I wouldnt understand.

I used to play that heavily when it first came out. Got to around level 30 and putting money into it really wasn't much of a factor and still enjoyed the game. It got really repetitive and the more land you filled up the more the game would slow down for me.

I played it a few years ago and enjoyed it, but never put any money in. All the references and special events were awesome but it was basically impossible to buy anything without spending money. Didn't matter how long you played either as the payout was 1 donut per level and many things were so expensive you'd never see them. So I kinda just quit when I knew I wouldn't be able to actually buy anything without spending real money

There are a few buildings that help you earn free donuts. Complete 10-15 daily challenges and you'll get some donuts. One building where you play a hide and seek game with Maggie will give you a 1-3 donuts prize if you win 3 times. Takes about 2-3 days to win 3 times.

I played that game for like 2 years, never spent a dime. Eventually I was just getting donuts like crazy. I would have probably kept playing, but they made the game too busy. Every few weeks was some new event that required you to check back constantly in order to get all the stuff. It got tiring

Love the shit out of that game, been playing it for a few years now. Donuts can be free if you know where to look.
