She had never watched it before so they've been marathoning. She didn't even react during the Red Wedding and he said she looked sad during the Purple Wedding.

I always knew his wife was fucking nuts but this takes the cake...

She probably just doesn't really give a shit about the show.

Apparently she's really enjoying it. She even talks to my wife about it and tells her how she should start watching (I've been trying tbh). She's just fucking crazy.

Is it wrong that I think the Red Wedding scene was hilarious?
Lemme explain. I've only read the books and, outside of looking up the Red Wedding on YT, I haven't seen the show at all. I looked it up only after reading it because everyone was saying it was such a brutal scene, and I wanted to see it brought to life.

For the most part it was whatever, but what makes it hilarious to me is how, near the end, there's just a few moments of defeated silence, and then someone jumps behind Catelyn, slits her throat, and jumps away. I'm guessing it was meant to be shocking, like you aren't expecting her to die so suddenly, but for me it just ruined the tension completely and I started laughing.

I thought that was weird, honestly. When the show killed off Eddard Stark during the first season, it sort of set a precedent that this show is willing to kill off pretty much anyone at any time.

I mean, I got the shock when Glen was killed on Walking Dead. The death was particularly gruesome and although the show was willing to kill of characters before, they had established a sort of core group that was never touched. Had they killed of Rick or something like that part way through season 1 or 2, Glen probably wouldn't have had the same impact.

It did seem weird, the book ending seemed less awkward

I didn't like how they rewrote one character to add shock value either

probably means robbs wife, but maybe not

in the books - she's a different person and doesn't get killed, so no stabby stab on pregnant lady
