I went out with friends and had eel, salmon, tuna rolls, etc. It was delicious. idk how I literally survived my whole life without even trying sushi, but I loved it. I should eat some sushi while watching some Bleach while wearing the ceremonial Naruto headband to get the true nihongo experience! >_>

The first time I had sushi, it was prepared by Latino cooks at a "Chinese" buffet owned by Pakistanis. I wrote a paper about the experience for a fifth grade writing assignment and my teacher thought it was a humorous take on cultural diffusion. I legitimately did not know about its Japanese origins <_<

But it's amazing, probably one of the best foods ever.
