How exactly does time dilation slow time like in interstellar? The time dilation only changes the perception of time right? So even if you travel to a system with extreme gravity relative to earths, it will only be for the time your there. The time will just have to be measured differently right?
Once the fella goes back to earth, he should still be the same age relative to everyone else. Im a little confused. Am i missing something? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wonder what the feasibility would be for relativistic food storage... I'm not going to do the math but it's fair to say you'd probably need an objects weight in anti-matter fuel to get it to near light speed. So . . . completely unfeasible. Let's say, 100 tsar bombs to keep an apple in stasis. Oh then we'd need to slow it down . . . Dunno how true this is but sounds about right; https://www.quora.com/How-much-energy-is-needed-for-a-human-body-to-reach-99-99-of-speed-of-light --- "Tolerance of intolerance is cowardice." ~ Ayaan Hirsi Ali ... There's a great calculator out there that shows you the effect depending on the percentage of c.
At like 99.9999999999999% of c iirc, the length of the universe would pass in time. Time outside the traveler's bubble proceeds as normal. You're just slowed down. So if somebody were watching the Interstellar crew from outside the blackhole's effect, they would look like they weren't even moving. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it?
