Just signed on as a funded graduate research assistant, woo.

This is pretty lucky. Funding is really dry in the department I'm at, and I'm lucky that my advisor picked me among the Master's students to take on the project.

I told somebody on CE that I would let them know if it worked out, but I forget who. Oh well.

One time I was studying for Solids with a Mech E guy, and he just looks at me and says:

"No offense, but you seem smart... Why are you a Civil?"

One of the funniest memories from sophomore year for me lol.

Yes I do get out, that moment just tickles me.
