But I really want the & Knuckles mode in the new Sonic game, but this shit is annoying as hell! I lose 80% of the time, and always when I only need 1 more sphere.

I like blue sphere, but I think Mania had too many of them

The issue with Sonic 2's special zone was that it was way too hard and unless you cheated or were already really good at the game, you wouldn't have a chance at getting it in a reasonable timeframe.
If sinnocent were still around, I'm sure he could talk about it better. I remember him having REALLY strong opinions on sonic games --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

i actually really liked it in S3&K, it's fun once you get it down. playing through the new levels though, and it reminds me of how hectic and disorienting it could get again.
