It feels like here lately that Chrome is eating up a ton of data. I want to know if there is a better browser and one that eats up less data. Looking for recommendations please.

I feel stupid for saying, but I can get Firefox on my phone? I did not recall seeing it on the play store.

The data comes from what you browse, the sync doesn't take a lot.

Activate data saver in settings.

Not sure about less data but I use a browser called CM Browser and it's noticeably faster and has a really good built in ad block.

Samsung Browser is incredibly battery efficient on my phone compared to Chrome.
