I used to drink nothing but Coke, and I quit with about 2 years off the stuff. I know it's not as much as coffee, but I've still never felt anything off of it.

It blocks some receptor thingy in your brain to prevent the message from some hormone that makes you asleep to reach your brain, so your brain gets desperate and builds more and more of those receptor thingies so you need more and more caffeine to block them
