I don't think they could survive on Zelda. Maybe Pokemon would keep them afloat?

Animal Crossing, Pokemon Smash, Splatoon, Zelda, are all pretty big.

They have a lot of mid size series like Metriod, Fire Emblem, Tomodachi etc.

They could probably partially replicate Mario Kart as a "Nintendo Kart"

Mario's definitely their biggest moneymaker, but they have loads of other high-selling IPs.

I had my doubts after Skyward Sword, but after BotW I actually think they could survive with Zelda as their primary IP.

At the frequency the main games come out though...it would be a stretch.

Edit: Actually I take that back. Bethesda's doing pretty good.
