One is on 3DS the other is on PC but I don't mind either. I'm not a huge Zelda fan, but I know enough about it that the fan service still speaks to me.

I probably enjoyed Hyrule Warriors more than Dynasty Warriors. I didn't like the weapon system in the latter because characters were basically all identical, barring two special attacks with their default weapon for each. I always ended up using a staff for its range.

By not a huge Zelda fan, do you mean that you've only played a few of the main games, like Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess but still enjoyed them? If so, you'd probably still appreciate it.

I enjoyed OoT, never finished. I hated Majora's Mask, to me it was too obtuse. I liked Twilight Princess and A Link Between Worlds though, yet never finished either of them. I just enjoy the series and understand the general plot enough to get into the game.

I guess I'll just play a bit of both and see which one I enjoy more. Naturally I'd always just got for DW8 because it's on PC and looks a billion times better than the 3DS Hyrule, but I have a N3DS so even though it doesn't look the best it still runs and plays really smoothly. The pop in doesn't bother me at all.

I will say that the version of DW8:XL is a port of the PS3 version, and not of the PS4 version so don't expect it to look too good.
