I actually love XCOM 2, but opinions were a bit divided. This seems like it has a crap ton of content. I heard something about how they considered making it XCOM 3 but decided to release it as an expansion instead.

Honestly, that seems like the Firaxis approach and it has worked out well in Civ, so yeah.

One thing this game has taught me is that no matter what the chances are success are, there is always the off chance that your perfectly laid plan will devolve into a triple homicide, an exploding car, and a pot of spilled spaghetti.

I just started a new game. Then after stressing a bit, I just turned it on Rookie to burn through it for fun when I don't feel like thinking to hard. Great game, so much awesome.

I'm so glad the new expansion includes a fatigue system. I've always created color coordinated my squads and creating Red Squad/Blue Squad/Green Squad or Alpha/Bravo/Charlie etc. Before it was just to satisfy my OCD, but now it'll actually serve a purpose!
