...Gender (synonymous with sex) is something kids know about before kindergarten. They might not necessarily know the specifics about the other sex's parts, but they know there's a difference. If they didn't then why would boys swim without shirts, have short hair, wear clothes that say things like "Daddy's boy", and use masculine pronouns while it being the opposite for girls?

at first. then I kept asking you to support your claim. your response was "science". then, someone else tried to support your claim for you, and you agreed with it. a study stating a large percentage of kids stop showing signs of being trans as they age (which I still find flawed, for the record). but, again, your claim is absolute. no trans kids, full goddamn stop. but if there are no trans kids, then the desistance rate should be 100%. so, yet again: BULLSHIT.

1) being trans doesn't require dysphoria. it's super common, but not 100%
2) yes, it can absolutely manifest before puberty.
3) there are literally trans kids out there. there are literally trans people out there who knew as kids. there are literally trans people here who knew as kids (hi, by the way. not at all nice to meet you)

social transition. hormonal transition doesn't start until puberty at the very earliest (and even then, it's usually not HRT for even a couple years after that) surgical transition is almost always 18, though there are some exceptions.

It's not up to the school whether the child transitions or not, but since she is a student at the school it becomes necessary for them to address it. In this case it was a student calling her by the wrong name, which is something that would be corrected in every other situation.
