The first one was definitely good. Been awhile since I've seen 2 and I only saw it like once, so I have no comment on it. 3 was trash.

1 is really cheesy and feels like a Japanese film betwen Gobby's costume, adults playing high schoolers, and the poorly aged CGI. It's fun though and so is 2.

That hospital scene in SM 2 has some of the best PG-13 horror out there. Masterfully done. Watched it in theatre the first time, and was legitimately creeped out and horrified.

They're extremely cheesy, melodramatic, and over the top.
