my coworker had his blood drawn last week. the vein bled out and he developed a massive blotchy bruise all up and down his arm. it's just now returning to normal.

Next time you get a blood draw, drink a lot of water before hand. It'll make finding the vein easier for your nurse/tech if you're not dehydrated.

Also have a small carby snack before/after to get your energy up.

And if you've got delicate princess skin like me, request a butterfly needle so you don't get a huge painful lumpy bruise.

they had to get the vein from around my knuckle area, hurt pretty bad.
had some hart to hit veins.
