I was having issues downloading Windows onto my USB drive (you need to include USB 3.0 drives for 7 because 7 doesn't support it). Long story short, some issues were going on, and I downloaded Ubuntu for a bit to try and get my Windows shit back. God the interface/everything was awful, 90% of the stuff I use can't even be used on Linux without some emulator bullshit. How/why do people use that shit? Unless you're a programming nut I don't see why anyone would want it. Thankfully I am back on Windows 7 now.

I once had to use Ubuntu to remake my boot manager because I'd accidentally deleted it. That was oddly fun, after all the panic settled down.

Seriously, I had to fight just to have my display right.

I have a dual monitor setup.

The program windows were on my main window. Yet clicking on them did nothing.

I had to click on random spots on the EMPTY monitor to move/close/etc windows.

Ridiculously irritating.

There are linux based equivalents of pretty much any application you'd want to use on Windows.

Exception being games. GPU drivers can be really annoying on GNU environments.
But this topic is like a non-topic. Ubuntu doesn't fit TC's use case.
