it really isn't - especially in later seasons.

Buffy is the only good vampire show I've watched.

Yes and no.

It has some cool moments and ideas, and I like how it tackles some supernatural things that often don;t get covered in other simmilar shows, but the teen drama aspect can be painful at times, and dear god, the CG in season 1 is painful.

If you can suffer through season 1 though, the rest of the show is pretty enjoyable honestly. Seasons 3 and 5 are the best IMO, haven't seen 6 yet.

Yes they have hot people in it and cool monsters they fight, i lobe the main characters friend, i forget his name since i haven't watched in years but he was a great actor. He was in those movies about mazes

Also all the best eye candy left to go to other shows where they eventually all got written out.

Honestly if you're fine with corniness, cheesiness, melodrama, and the sort and are a fan of stuff like The Vampire Diaries like you mentioned you'll probably like the show. It's personally not for me but it seems like something you'd probably like just based on what you've said.

Season 3A/B were its peak where it eas almost actually a show but it went right back to terrible and I finally stopped watching it.

the writing of the show was bad enough it couldnt properly develop any of the characters and a lot of the key actors noticed this and left, putting even more pressure on the shows writing which it couldnt keep up

the show got progressively worse because of it.

Honestly the only reason to watch 4 and on is for sexy af Malia.
Also Theo, the anti hero Shadow the Edgehog type character has actually been great this final season. I'm just irritated at where the character development is going. Forcing a new love angle is not the way to do it, and no Stiles hurts. Mason pretty much replaced his character.

Also I still miss Isaac.

stiles is really hot and the best character in the show
the second best character is lydia but she really doesnt do much in the first 2 seasons

in this kind of show unless people are aware of the supernatural they dont really get to be too involved in the plots. and the show kept lydia in the dark for a long time



but yes its a good show

you do realize that the current episodes airing and the story arc with the wild hunt are all part of the same season right?
they arent separate seasons.
season 6 is just cut up into 2 different story arcs the same way season 3 was.


and what happened with stiles was for real life reasons
you see dylan obrien almost died in an accident on the mazerunner set

it was bad. he spent months in the hospital and had to get full facial reconstruction surgery.
its why he is in so little of the first half of season 6. its cause he was still recovering
now the second half of season 6 hadnt started filming yet and all his other projects were put on hold until he was better.

once he was fully recovered he found out that the last 10 episodes of teen wolf conflicted with the filming schedule for the movies he was in. he had to pick one of the other and as much as i love stiles movies are the better path for his career.

so sadly he did the right thing and quit teen wolf. '
