Rock music: Tried to learn guitar and failed.
Sports: Uncoordinated, weak, and short.
Art/film/video games: Can't draw at all.

Did well in my degree but have no desire to work in the field and lost interest in it.

Doesn't help that I have anxiety and I can't focus anymore. I'm also nearing 30 with not much to show for it.

Yeah, I know that for most, it boils down to practice, but everyone I know who is doing well started as a kid/teen and built up strong habits and skills.

If you are going to continue to look for excuses as to why you aren't improving instead of working on improving then you don't deserve to improve.

focus on the process, not the results. This is how anyone gets good at anything. Because they love to do it, even when they suck and then they get good after the fact.

You have to realize that talent takes time, always has always will. If you don't sit down and focus you'll always feel defeated

Rock Music: Practice until your fingers callous and hurt to even strum. Until then, don't sit here and say "I tried to learn and failed".
Sports: Coordination and strength are both things that can be improved, again through practice. I know puny manchildren who exploded after High School and now compete in regional Powerlifting competitions - I promise they were no different than you.
Art/Film/Video Games: Can't help you there. I am one to believe you either have the gift of art or you don't. Unlike your muscles, or your hand-eye coordination, the neural-network genesis necessary to learn something such as Art just isn't possible through sheer repetition and practice.

In other words, as far as Art goes, you either got it or you don't.
