and anxiety issues. I've always been able to hide it all well and when people do find out they are surprised.

my current gf just accidentally stumbled across my meds back then and I was so embarrassed I nearly broke up with her over it.

when you are in a fresh relationship when are you supposed to reveal these sort of things?

cos I know it's a major turn off and red flag. like how would you even bring it up?

Try not too, I told my GF, and whatever she considers herself this week to me. And all she did was make me feel even worst.

The answer is: when you're comfortable.

You should always be honest about it.

Anxiety affects 1 in 4 people so i'm guessing they met someone with it. I never come out on the first date with it but once it starts getting serious i explain whats going on

You breaking up with her over it?

How well do you trust her?
Just tell her if you trust her. Apologize to her about freaking out. Let her know you aint ready for others to know about it. That you trust her.

Tell her about it. Tell her how you feel and how the meds help whatever youre going through.

If youre not ready, just apologize for freaking out about it and youre not ready to talk about it yet.

I don't have anxiety but I may have depression. (not gonna be a self diagnosed person) and I told her and she pushes my buttons even when she knows I'm having a bad time.

I usually tell potential partners the very next time I have a bad day. Thing is I meet most dates online, and it seems like depressed people attract each other all the time that way (I joke that we're like Stand users) so it's never a big deal explaining myself.

If i had a girlfriend my depression and anxiety would just disappear. No offence but I don't really understand why people with girlfriends who get regular sex would be depressed or anxious.

kinda depends on how comfortable you are disclosing it to her? Like some people do so right off the bat, others don't under any circumstance
