Living in Minnesota my whole life, I've seen this as the liberal norm for a long time. That's why, when the usual suspects on GameFAQs try to pretend this is outliers, I know they're racists who are full of shit.

I mean, wasn't she the one suspended for all her anti semitism? It wouldn't surprise me she did support such idiocy, if she spouts hatred elsewhere in her life.

Labour needs to cut ties with idiots like her, if it wants to ever actually succeed, they are only hurting it when it is already down.

Yeah, she was. I believe it was a mistake in this instance though, given her past comments in this area.

I do agree they should drop her. She's too prone to gaffes like this.

What does this story have to do with Brexit? Pakistan and nearby countries ain't in the EU.

I can see it now: we reduce EU immigration (including skilled German, French, etc. workers that are net contributors to the economy), but the "wrong" kind of immigration (in the eyes of Brexiters) goes up to plug the gap. If we want trade deals with the likes of India to make up for any lost trade from Brexit, they're going to demand easier / visa-free migration.

I wonder how much of it was an "actual" accident

You could argue that it has something to do with Brexit if Brexit supporters have policies that would limit immigration from middle eastern countries. In this case, Pakistan because the rape gangs in Rotherham and Rochdale were almost exclusively Pakistani immigrants.

It is a sort of second hand connection. I mean, you don't need to support Brexit to want to limit immigration from certain areas.

it turns out the left tends to be more anti semitic than the right. at least the right usually worships Isreal cause they think it's the holy land. the left pretend to like them but secretly they don't. that's why there is alot anti semitism in europe. especially France
