Been working at my job for like 5 months now and I kinda like it only I want to work somewhere where I get better hours and more pay, preferably an office job or something.

I always see the places I work at as necessary to reach my further goals.

Nope. Been working at a soccer stadium for awhile now. I like the people but the pay could be better.

I'm paid 12:50 (11 is the minimum wage in M.A) an hour right now, but only 15 hours a week, paid internship with the intention of moving me into a fulltime position eventually

Then start a business and hire people for the wage you think they should have instead of outsourcing your virtue to other people.

go volunteer. i bet theres programs in your community that needs help and you'll meet a ton of people

Dude, be realistic for a minute. That's great that you like those things, but in all reality you're probably not going to find a job in those career fields. Music, books, film? I don't mean to sound like a pesimisit but let's be real, what are the chances of that happening? Single payer health care plan? Sounds great but its not going to happen and you certainly aren't going to find a job in that. You don't have to do something you hate but realize that you're not going to find yourself in a job in film.

I wish I was getting what you're getting, honestly.

It doesn't really matter right now because i'm living at home, but wages have to be higher in MA, because only Cali, Hawaii, NY(just the city not upstate) and Maryland are more expensive to live in.

You'll probably be able to afford a place before I am. When my brother and his GF (now wife) lived in Orlando they had a really nice large apartment that was 1000 a month, something like that would probably cost 3000 a month AT least in MA.

I doubt I could afford a place even I was worked 40 hours a week.

No I love film, but I stopped studying film, because I don't like the process of making them to be honest. ,but I'd love to do something cultural with film, music, books, graphics novels etc.

Those are my passions and I have no one to talk about them with.

Just do it for awhile then get yourself fired for Unemployment purposes and find what you really want.

No, you like the idea of it. You probably don't like the process of it.

Do you want to write a book all day? Go for it in your free time. Do you want to make music? Good luck cause I know musicians with nothing in their bank accounts. Want to draw graphic novels? Good luck meeting monthly deadlines and working 14 hour days.

Everything looks nice on paper until you start working on it and not making any money on it.
