What do?
I already drained the pus and put hydrogen peroxide on it. I'm only concerned because of how deep the cut was.

You are now breathing manually.
Lets put a little lead in the air, and see what falls over.

It's a very small cut, more of a stab.
It's not at the angry stage yet, just red and a bit of pus.

Clean it and sterilize it with peroxide. Put antibiotic cream on it and keep it under a bandage. Change it once or twice a day and repeat everything above.

If it's bled through the gauze it's time to change it again. Otherwise it will dry and it's gonna hurt like hell to get off and provably reopen the wound. If the infection doesn't go away in a day or two you should go to a clinic.

And obviously make sure your hands are sterile when doing all of this. You want to sterilize it and keep it that way

I chopped through my thumb nail/whole finger lengthwise the whole way up the nail on christmas eve a few years ago while cooking. It's like "Oh shit!" but at the same time it was like I don't have time to deal with this or the insurance to cover it and I have people coming over. Peroxided it. Neosporin. Tied it together with multiple bandaids and tape so tight it cut the bleeding. Mixed some tylenol and more than a bottle of wine that evening. Then just kept those bandages on the next couple of days (with more tylenol and booze on christmas), then changed them out as fast as I could so it wouldn't reopen. It healed just fine in a few weeks with no scar. Little pain too.

Yah I just cleaned it out. Peroxide, the works. Really hoping it doesn't get worse. Can't afford to miss out on work right now.

So long as it's sterile and covered it should get better.

But like I said if it doesn't go get some antibiotics
