I used to run the safety meetings at work so yes I have plenty of experience talking in front of a group.

Got my first panic attack when i had to speak in front of an audience of 30 people. The waiting and being nervous before the speech is the worst part. More you think about it more bad visions you get and become more nervous.

Good thing there's propranolol. Its life saver.

Yeah. People said I did well but that I talked a little fast, probably from nervousness. I didn't notice

Yep, yep.

Looking back on it, nobody listens to speeches. They just sit there and zone out and clap at the end because they're supposed to.

At least not the kind of speeches I would give.

Plenty. Crowds ranging from a meeting room, to around 1500.

I've always gotten ridiculously nervouse about them. I end up screwing up during the presentations because I'm more busy thinking about being nervous and screwing up more than the information I'm supposed to present. The only thing that ever helped was having a few drinks before it.

I've always wanted to play music live, but I don't see how I could do that if even a meaningless class presentation is so hard.

I've done tons of professional presentations to up to 1000 people and regularly around 100 people. I gave the salutatorian speech to about 500, that was definitely the one I was most nervous about. After that they haven't been that hard.

I regularly do in my job, a few times a year for budget breakdowns etc. I still get a twinge of "what if I **** everything up?" five minutes beforehand, but once I actually get up there it's always fine.
