I watched it earlier this week

I thought it was meh. It wasn't bad per se, but it felt very much like the first act of the standard 12 or 13 episode series length.

If we got the full thing I would have enjoyed it more. Especially considering episode 2 felt like just a waste of time. Some of the animation was real stiff and cheap looking. The art direction was good tho.

The first episode had some cool stuff but Trevor Belmont is really lame. Shame that this mumbling fellow is our protagonist.

Yeah. I liked the animation and art direction but there were a few moments that looked a bit awkward or stiff.

Of course sometimes you gotta wait.

A video game adaptation getting a full season might've been a hard sell for getting enough funding ya know?

I enjoyed it despite occasional problems. A admirable and enjoyable effort for sure.

For sure. I get that most likely they did 4 episodes as a test to see how it'd turn out/if there was an audience for it. I get the economics behind it, still wish we got more, but I do understand it.

Also, agreed with the complaints about the mumbling. WTF? Netflix can have sound issues from time to time, but this is the worst I can ever remember. Sometimes dialogue was completely drowned out by music, or just couldn't be heard. Really weird.

I will say, it nailed Castlevania as a series tho.

Yeah it was a mumbly at times. Outside of that good voice acting.
