Here's her batshit crazy defense

Chappelle-Nadal said that in the wake of Charlottesville, “there are people who are afraid of white supremacists, there are people who are having nightmares. there are people who are afraid of going out in the streets. It’s worse than even Ferguson.”

That's as crazy as right wingers fear-mongering over Islamic terrorism.

I do not condone her saying that the president should be assassinated but I have to admit that with the comments Trump has been making, I myself told my husband that I think this is going to cause certain KKK and Neo Natzi members to probably go out and harm people of color.

I'm certain that I'm not the only one who felt that way when Trump started saying that there are good people marching with the KKK and Natzi and the way he was pretty much cradling them by not coming out and directly denouncing them, I thought, was sending them a message that he in some way, supports what they're doing.

Again, I do not believe that I was the only one who felt that way as a lot of republican senators came out and expressed that Trump was playing with fire as well.

With that said, I believe they should lock her ass up for posting that the president should be assassinated because she's claiming people are fearful so she in turn does the same thing by endangering the president's life. There are crazy liberals who would actually see what she posted and think its their duty to do what she requested. So lock her ass up!!

A senator hoping the sitting President dies?

This must be an a totally unique event in U.S history, surely this has never happened before!

Wait a minute....!

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/06/david-perdue-obama/486587/

Senator David Perdue appeared to break the rule Friday morning. In his remarks at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority conference, Betsy Woodruff reported, the freshman Georgia Republican encouraged attendees to pray for President Obama. According to Perdue’s office, he said:

I think we’re called to pray for our country, for our leaders, and yes, even our president. In his role as president I think we should pray for Barack Obama. But I think we need to be very specific about how we pray. We should pray like Psalms 109:8 says. It says, “Let his days be few, and let another have his office.”

8. Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
9. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10. Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
11. Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
12. Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
13. Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

It's interesting how sensitive we have become to this.

I remember when WKUK did a sketch about wanting to kill George Bush and no one cared.

They did a movie about killing Goerge Bush and no one cared.

But then once Obama entered the white house, people go insane.

Seriously imagine if this sketch was made today:

People would literally want him arrested.

Exactly as it appears. By saying they are not president anything they do is instantly forgiven no matter how shady or bad it is.
As such anything Trump did like birthism is ok because he, at the time, was not President.

The vast majority of violent crime (like 99%) is not race or politically motivated, so acting like you're terrified of walking out in the streets because of what happened at a heated protest where BOTH SIDES were engaging in violence is batshit crazy.

The vast majority of murders don't come from terrorists, and yet our country and our government is constantly in fear of them. Is that also batshit crazy? What I'm trying to explain to you is when you're constantly fed a certain narrative, and it's done convincingly, you're going to believe it. I don't think that's the same as being crazy.

Ferguson involved a justified shooting of a black man who prior to his death had robbed and assaulted a store clerk. How the fuck is that even relevant?

I explained why it's relevant: Missouri's race relations are in the toilet right now. Whites think blacks are coming to get them, and vice versa.

I mean when you look at the fact that white people are killed by black people disproportionately more than the opposite, along with statistics like this:

Modern leftists/SJWs hate facts like this. They despise it. The mainstream media actively sweeps it under the rug, only reporting on it if absolutely necessary---and for a very short period of time.

For example, we heard about Dylann Roof every month or so up to and including his trial. It's still brought up. Kori Muhammad, however, was a racist black man who shot and killed three random white people within minutes (and we know that was his intent, too). We heard about that story for less than a week. He showed up to court in mid July. Not a peep from mainstream media. No restoration of the story. No mourning the victims and putting their pictures up on the TV again. Nothing nothing. We'll never hear about Kori Muhammad again.

Some of that may be bias, but Kori didn't leave behind a manifesto, nor was the body count as high, nor was it as premeditated, nor did he target a place of worship.

And Trump didn't even condemn it. If he had, it might have received more attention. Instead, he condemned a non-fatal stabbing in the UK.

It wasn't as severe as Roof's killings, absolutely. But if the race was reversed for Kori, and it was quickly discovered the person who killed three random people was a white nationalist, had a violent social media presence of hating black people, and talked about killing black people---it would still be on the news to this day every step of the judicial process.

And what about the 5 people who kidnapped the white boy, torturing him on video saying "**** white people"? That coverage lasted a week, potentially two weeks. Never brought up since and it would have been if the races were reversed.

Way to ignore the whole post.

And by opposite, I mean white on black, not white on white....and how is it rare????

Because white people rarely kill black people and black people rarely kill white people. Most murders, most crime at all, involves an offender and a victim of the same race. Your table even shows that. So if white people think blacks are "coming to get them" then we have to be absolutely TERRIFIED of other white people, who are way more likely than blacks to violently attack us.

But we aren't talking about intraracial violence.

I agree--a white person will likely be killed by another white person than by a black person as would a black person by another black person than a white person.

But IF we are to point out some sort of problematic trend as far as interracial violence goes, you will see that violent crime (including and excluding homicide) is disproportionately higher among black on white versus white on black.

I mean the numbers are literally there and even more in depth numbers can be obtained and presented.

Even if there wasn't a death in Charlottesville, we would be hearing about that rally non-stop until the next one. Which, hey--fuck white supremacists and neo-Nazis. They can be doxxed and exposed and I won't shed a single tear if they are even assaulted.

But to see the media so up in arms over this while they basically ignored or hardly touched injustices where white people were the victims is disgusting. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

When it comes to violent hate crimes, that's not exactly true. Most black on white violent crime is economic related or domestic violence related. Hate crimes of any type garner the most attention from the media.

People who keep bringing up Trump's comments about Hillary Clinton... does nobody remember that Clinton made pretty much the same comments regarding Barack Obama when she was running against him?

I'm not saying that Trump's Hillary comments were not awful (he's a very awful person. Sad!), but he didn't set the presedence here and I don't think it's fair to condemn him for those comments without condemning further down the line.
