Settle for being terrible and just keep playing terribly until you're not terrible anymore. Repeat until you go from being slightly less terrible to being okay, to being decent, to being a god, etc.

just use alot of effects and stuff so your badness is masked by all the reverb/distortion/etc. and it sounds decent
