It has more to do with unsolicited pictures. It's one thing looking up porn on your own volition, women are a significant consumer of pornography, something like a third of website membership report their users identify as female.

So it's not that women don't appreciate candid photos. It's the random explicit pictures that border on harassment here. I feel many of us can appreciate the difference.
