I've been on an SG kick this year. Started with a Yamaha SG800 a couple months ago (which I'm currently trying to get a partial refund for bc the fucking neck is cracked under the fretboard and it's lifting), just got a Gibson SG Standard T for my bday*, looking at a sunburst SG Special T once I sell off a couple of my less-favored guitars. Ultimate goal (like, YEARS down the line if ever) is a white SG custom. Also always looking for more Burgundy Mist Fenders and weird Guilds but those are their own separate obsessions.


*I'm also trying to find a way to pay for AT LEAST half of it because I'm a grown-ass man and getting a gift that expensive makes me profoundly uncomfortable

Also I finally stopped injuring my thumb on all of my guitars and now the SG sits differently and I have to fix my technique all over again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This year I've also bought a 2x15 Sunn cab, a Boss RE-20, and more dirt/boost/etc pedals than you can count (though I've returned or sold all of them cuz they can't beat the garbage ones I'm currently running)

I wanna throw a maestro vibrola on my sg for looks (and weight balance) but they are fucking terrible and exacerbate the tuning problems already inherent in the guitar's design
