After going on dates and spending time together, what made you want to make the jump? What was it about their personality, life goals, etc that spoke to you

Personality. I didn't want to hit her in the mouth so it worked out. Actually it didn't. It turned out she was a whore then I did want to hit her in the mouth, so I broke up with her.

She was hot, skinny, into video games, and sane, unlike the girlfriend before her. She was also really shy around me, which I found cute.

That was 10 years ago though. We've been on and off since, but we got engaged in December and have our first baby on the way. I got pretty lucky that I found a good match so young and that we stayed on good enough terms to get back together.

Honesty and genuineness. Also the fact she genuinely likes to help people and cares for them. And of course the fact that our personalities go great together

He asked me out, had an attractive personality, and was honestly looking to settle down.

His mom was fine with it.
She knew her son was going to end up with a gay ho either way.
She was just happy I wasn't a drug addict full of AIDS.

Love is magical.

At the time, I was 18 and she was 16, so no, not really. Neither of us knew what we wanted at that time, just that we planned on going to college.

Eh... It got tricky there. During college is when we started the on and off thing. She dropped out in her last semester to take care of her mom, but also because she didn't want to follow that career path.

It bothered me at the time because I kept going and intended to finish law school, so I thought our lives were branching off. I ended up dropping out too after the 1st year of law school though.

Our biggest break up came from my wanting to move out of our hometown, while she refused to leave her sick mother and her family. I ended up moving across the country for four years, but eventually we realized we were better off together and I moved back.

Neither of us care much about each other's careers at this point. We both have creative aspirations (music for me, writing for her), but don't do much about them and we just work part time jobs.

She was cute and we got along and I just enjoyed talking to her about nothing. 10 years later she's my wife and I can't imagine not spending my entire life with her.

She's hot, reasonably smart, not as adventurous in the sack as I might like but she's enthusiastic and gets my soh. What more do you need?

Personally, no. Even with past relationship, as long as I thought the person had a good heart I never really care about what life goals they had or such. As long as they didn't want to a have a baby I'm good because I never want a child

Ex now. There's a certain look I go gaga for, and she exemplified it. She reminded me of my mother. There was this certain combination of sweet and caring that struck a personal chord. I loved her laugh and her smile. I like how it peaked through her eyes. She was extremely giving and seemed to think the world of me. I remember watching her take care of her dying grandmother, and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. It's when I knew I was mentally in for the long haul. Thought I was going to marry her.

We have a Forrest Gump/Jenny relationship. I've known her for as long as I could remember. I don't exactly remember a time where I "learned" what love was, but with her I think I always kind of felt it. We were each other's first. Getting comfortable around the other sex became easy because she was basically my friend. We've had hard times too, but the fact we're still together to this day means we're prepared for anything.

I love her.

That was like 2 months long, wasn't it? I remember you saying how sad you were over that. Falling that hard, that fast, is why she left you. She knew the challenge was over. If you dropped the emotional bullshit and quit trying to fall in love like a hs kid, you'd have more enjoyable relationships and women would respect you more. Don't be needy

It was longer, and no, I wasn't some needy hanger on. She pushed the relationship harder than I did. Don't act like a child just because you're on the internet.

I have no experience with Puerto Ricans, but if they have DD's like my wife, then I'm sure I'd love it there.

I like very assertive men and prefer traditional type relationships. My husband is a take charge kinda guy. I felt really well taken care of. He's also super responsible and I was really attracted to that after experiencing the opposite. He had his shit together.
