It gets weirder. Hopefully you can get past the clunkiness in s2, watch the movie (masterpiece), and start the delightful revival.

I finished episode 4 (or is it 6 the pilot throws my numbering) off on Sunday. As weird as this show is, its incredibly entertaining.
I think the only way the Audrey plot doesn't come off as unsettling is the heavy Dawson casting. Season 2 wasn't that bad, it wasn't as good as season 1 though. Season 2 just had a lot of filler. It really picks up towards the end though.
