Today, of all days.

Never be afraid to stand up for social justice. Never be afraid to stand up for what's right. They'll mock you for it; don't listen to them. They'll put peer pressure on you to get you to stand down; don't conform to them. It isn't right, what they believe.

Stand up for the rights of Jews, Muslims, people of color, gays, lesbians, transgenders. Don't be afraid to -- ever. Stand up for the civil rights and dignity of other people. Have empathy for others. Don't let your heart be turned to prejudice, hate, or cynicism. Not ever.

Stand up for what's right, and be vocal about it... It's the only way to make the world a better place.

I'll stand up for Muslim rights when they stop trying to remove the rights of basically everyone else you listed.

No, it isn't. And no, they aren't.

Remember the lessons you were taught as a child, which your parents and teachers tried to impress upon you... Don't judge a book by its cover. It isn't moral to judge a person harshly simply because they are Muslim -- that's religious hatred. We have to evaluate everyone as individuals, on the merits of their own beliefs and actions... To do otherwise is prejudice, and I hope you will take these words to heart and change your mind.

What if I lived in a society where it could cost me my life, like in Iran or China for instance? Would you still stand for justice in those places? Thankfully its relatively easy to stand up for justice in the states because the majority believes in freedom and the First Amendment even if they dont agree with someone or the lifestyle they choose to lead.

I have so much awe and respect for people fighting for human rights in countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, and Venezuela... They're some of the most amazing people in the world. I support them wholeheartedly, in word and contributions... I try to donate at least 10% of my income each year to supporting human rights causes like theirs.

How about you do something useful instead of prayer? Praying is for lazy assholes who just want to wave a big sign saying "I want to be recognized for doing something, without doing anything!"
