A SCHOOLGIRL who fled Germany to join ISIS faces execution after dramatic video footage emerged showing her being dragged from an ISIS lair in Mosul.

Linda Wenzel, 16, looks filthy, dazed and wounded as her capture is filmed by an Iraqi soldier from the Islamic State stronghold.

Footage aired on the German newspaper Bild’s website for the first time today shows the girl, dubbed the “belle of Mosul” screaming as she is put through “walk of shame”.

In the video two men are seen leading Linda away as she winces in pain from a wound.

One soldier shouts: “Make room, make room, she is a Christian, she can’t take it any more, she is hurting, she is weak, she is a blonde, she is a German.
“Her name is Dania, no Linda. Allah, Allah. Make way guys, let her through.”

Linda, who converted to Islam as a 15-year-old schoolgirl in her hometown of Pulsnitz in eastern Germany last year, ran away from home to join the fanatics after being groomed online by an Isis recruiter.

She flew to Istanbul, was smuggled into Iraq, marred a Chechen fighter who was killed and ended up in Mosul where an estimated 25,000 Isis volunteers died in the battle to retake the city.

Two of her compatriots come from the western city of Mannheim, identified as 50-year-old Lamia K. and her 21-year-old daughter Nadia, both Germans with Moroccan roots. They attended a radical Salafist mosque in the city before leaving their homeland for the so-called Caliphate of Islamic State.

Both were involved in recruiting women to join Islamic State and made several videos online.

The problem is you and many others lack the perception to realise that any normal reasonable person wouldn't join ISIS (even at 15). So obviously the only explanation is that she is genuinely mentally ill, meaning she's even more vulnerable because she's a mentally unwell child who was exploited and manipulated. And then people are saying she should be executed... it's so wrong. I'm not even some SJW but I think there's a line.

There are lots of people who were coerced into joining, or who only joined because they were trapped in ISIS-held territory and there was no other way to make money and feed their families. If Iraq punishes everyone who joined ISIS with death, right down to the cooks, the Sunni-Shia schism in that country will only grow worse, and another organization like ISIS will take root there eventually. ISIS could never have been as successful as it was if it hadn't exploited the sectarian persecution of the Sunni population in Iraq; religious extremism was a distant second to that as a motivating factor.

ISIS could never have been as successful as it was if it hadn't exploited the sectarian persecution of the Sunni population in Iraq; religious extremism was a distant second to that as a motivating factor.

They should execute any foreigners who join ISIS to discourage more from joining them.
