I think it's worth considering that if HG deliberately and maliciously lied about their game in order to trick people into buying it, as some people seem to think, them these updates would never have happened. HG would have shut down shop as soon as the backlash started and run away with their money.

One doesn't preclude the other.

I mean they did lie about their game. Point blank. There's no question about that.

You can make up whatever motivation you want for it. But their actions are undeniable.

How do you know they are lies and not things they intended to do, but couldn't finish in time for release? It's not uncommon for features or ideas to be dropped during the development cycle. As far as I can recall the only one they really screwed up with was about MP.

Sean was on Conan shortly before release and talked about multi and being able to see other players. A year later and we can see up to 15 other people as orbs.

I'm not OK with it. Lying like that was terrible and Sean was punished. But I believe in redemption and forgiveness -- if he and his team can make the game even better than what he originally pitched at E3.

No, there's just nothing further to discuss about it. Sean Murray, whether he actually is an evil bastard trying to trick people into handing over their money, or an over excitable idiot who talks before he thinks, screwed over his team when he talked about mp. I think we all agree there.

Nope. Some people just want consistent logic. Something you've proven incapable of accomplishing. Just like hypno you immediately crumble and assume that anyone who doesn't agree with your broken logic must hate the game or company. Despite that already being proven false within the very topic.

Pretty sure the inventory has been improved A TON.

Also from what I've heard the planets landscape is significantly better post 1.3 patch.
